Background
The 3rd Test match between England and India is scheduled from July 10 to July 14, 2025, at Lord's Cricket Ground in London. The series is currently tied at 1-1. England has announced the inclusion of fast bowler Jofra Archer, marking his return to Test cricket after over four years. India's captain, Shubman Gill, has been in exceptional form, scoring a double century (269) and a century (161) in the previous Test at Edgbaston. Rishabh Pant has also been a key performer for India, while Harry Brook and Joe Root have been significant contributors to England's batting lineup. (reuters.com, reuters.com)
Considerations
Lord's pitch conditions can vary, but recent reports suggest a greener surface, potentially offering more assistance to bowlers early in the match. Weather forecasts indicate warm and dry conditions throughout the Test, which may influence pitch behavior as the game progresses. (reuters.com)
