Apple has continued the orignal homepod line, and has added ios 17 features like standby display when on a magsafe charger, mulitple timers, and triggering siri via "siri" instead of "hey siri". Is this paving the way for a homepod-like smart home device with a screen?

Resolves YES if Apple announces any device that is intended as a smart home product that includes a high quality speaker and a screen running an iOS or iOS-esqe interface. It could be detachable, it could be a hompod that lets you magsafe mount an iPad, but it must be marketed as a individual home device and have individual functionality. A dumb speaker dock for iPad won't count.
