This market asks how many Am Law 100 firms will capitulate to Trump administration demands by November 3rd 2026.

'Capitulation' is defined as at least one of the following:

  1. Entering into formal agreements with the Trump administration to provide pro bono legal services for administration-aligned causes

  2. Publicly abandoning DEI practices in response to administration pressure

  3. Formally agreeing to refrain from taking cases opposing Trump policies

As of early 2025, firms including Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP; Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison; and Milbank LLP have already entered into such agreements.

Resolution will be based on credible news reporting from major outlets such as The New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, or legal industry publications like Law.com or The American Lawyer.
