This market predicts the number of new items that will appear in Wikipedia's 'In the news' (ITN) section during November 2024, excluding sports results from the count.

  • While sports scores or results are excluded from the count, the count would include major sports-related events that aren't results (e.g. scandals, sports-related accidents, record-breaking, facility disasters, or organizational changes).

  • We are defining sports loosely here; this category would include (but is not limited to) esports, chess, competitive eating, qualifying rounds, and racing.

  • Each unique headline counts as one item, even if it's updated multiple times.

  • The final count will be determined by reviewing changes to the ITN section on the Wayback Machine.
