H.R 9495, titled the Stop Terror-Financing And Tax Penalties On American Hostages Act, would allow the federal government to remove the non-profit status of organizations that provide support or resources to terrorist organizations. There have been concerns that this will be used broadly, to target organizations that disagree with the president. Which organizations will be targeted before 2029?

Resolves to N/A if the bill or a meaningfully equivalent one does not pass before 2029. Otherwise resolves YES for any organizations that have received notice of being designated as being a terrorist supporting organization, regardless of whether they cure the status. Resolves NO for organizations that have not received a letter before 2029. Resolves based on either self report or news reporting.

For organizations that are made up of individual branches, resolves based on any individual branches or the national branch being designated.

I reserve the right to resolve any options as N/A, for example if I determine that an organization is not in the purview of this bill.

If you would like to add an additional option, just ask and I can add it.
