Factory farming: approach to animal husbandry (includes fish and insects) that has two goals and neglects most other:
maximise production capacities
Lower production costs
Especially, it neglects:
Animal suffering, social and ecological sustainability
Example: high density free range chicken farms and fish farms fall under this definition if they neglect animal suffering (may be controversial) and neglect ecological sustainability (I believe they do this).
Metrics for animal suffering may be hard to come by but I think human intuition could close the gap for this play market.
Most countries: If >50% humans live in countries where factory farming is legal
