Do you live in a safe state where your vote for president doesn't actually matter? That platform is funny enough that I could see an argument for voting for him if you do.

@evergreenemily As commented elsewhere I'm in NM.

Is it possible to vote for somebody who isn't on the ballot? (E.g. if you spoil your ballot by writing his name on it, does that count?)

@Fion IMO that's not a vote. (I am biased with my M10 hanging on this)

@HenriThunberg Writing his name on it won't spoil the ballot if he's a declared write-in candidate. See here: https://electionresults.sos.state.nm.us/resultsElectionTerminology.aspx

I think I'll ignore that and resolve YES even if he's not declared.

I think primaries are much more suited for protest votes than the general, particularly the democratic one. In the general election I'd rather rack up the score on the popular vote even if I'm in a safe blue state. Your call though!

What state do you live in?

@Joshua NM now. Just moved; gotta get registered.
