3.00@DreemurrtheGoatGuy I don't personally like the theory either, I didn't care much for Omori's plot and this theory seems similarly ridiculous.
I can relate to tragic events, and tragic accidents, but not tragic accidents where a morally good character temporarily loses their mind and now has to cover up the freak accident, forever.
@MollTheCoder This resolves when we find out whether he is alive or dead or not in game, with maybe a week/month or so added on to prevent spoilers. I will be resolving based on obvious evidence, and if the evidence is non-obvious, will wait to resolve. If ch3/4 gives us very good reason to think he's currently alive- like, he appears, or calls Kris, in what appears to be the present day- I'll resolve yes then. Same as if it gives clear evidence that he's dead. If there is a sixth sense style switcheroo later I'll refund traders out of pocket.
